Georgia Ciancimino

Georgia Ciancimino has worked in the art world for over ten years in both traditional and contemporary contexts. Her professional experience ranges from working at Thomas Dane Gallery who represent sixteen internationally renowned contemporary artists to managing Ciancimino Ltd,  specialising in antique furniture and objects. In 2011 Georgia founded her own company Tinta which held pop-up exhibitions of edition art in disused spaces in London. Tinta showed work by 25 emerging artists, ranging from illustrators for MTV and the Guardian to Professors at the Royal Academy.

She has a keen understanding of art history and contemporary art criticism as a result of a degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University.  She has written reviews for online cultural magazines and has delivered many guided tours throughout London. Georgia has worked at several of the worlds most prestigious art fairs including Frieze, Miami Basel, Masterpiece, Olympia and The Armory in New York.
