Lucy Britton studied her BA Hons in Fine Art and Art History in Leeds and Italy, before gaining her MA in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London. She has worked extensively in the fields of art history, contemporary art and art theory. Most recently her professional experience has seen her programming and managing a range of commissions, projects and artistic events at Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art in London.
Lucy continues to write and publish on a range of subjects in contemporary art, and is a lecturer of art history at Morley College. She has written reviews for online arts magazines including Whitehot, and is a member of KIOSK, a collective that curates and publishes work that engages with contemporary art practice. Her theoretical work is included on academic reading lists for MA courses in the Visual Cultures department at Goldsmiths.
