Art Galleries

Many of our guides are qualified art historians and are all deeply enthused and passionate about their subject. We are extraordinarily lucky in London as some of the world’s most pre-eminent art galleries are here. Our most famous are the iconic collections you’ll find at the National Gallery (13 – 19 centuries), Tate Britain (British art from the Tudors to the 20 century), Tate Modern (20 -21 century), the National Portrait Gallery (British portraits from the Plantagenets to today) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (art and design from across the world).

But there are some smaller and equally exciting art galleries. Take a visit to the British Museum Print Room, the Courtauld Collection, Wallace Collection, Dulwich Picture Gallery or Kenwood House Hampstead, for some more astonishing displays of art.

"The personal nature of Art History UK tours was a real bonus. We spent five days together and anything I asked for, Rose sorted. With her overwhelming knowledge of London, bubbly personality and endless charm her days were without doubt our favourite days in London – I will certainly be recommending her to all my friends! "
