Sex and Death: The Cycle of Life at the British Museum

Friday 20 October | 6.30 - 8.00pm | British Museum

See the British Museum in a dazzling new light as we tackle themes that lie at the very heart of our existence - sex and death. Throughout time, cultures have been universally preoccupied with the beginning and end of life, our own mortality and what awaits us after death.  Join us as we take an expedition of discovery through the British Museum, visiting lesser known galleries to see powerful exhibits that challenge and provoke, as well as the much loved and revered spaces. On this rollercoaster tour we'll travel from the debauch to the pure, to the devastation of war and enlightenment of spiritual eternity. This poignant and enriching tour is the perfect way to start your weekend!

A huge thanks from us for helping make last night’s event so special. We are getting such positive feedback from all of the clients – some of the most glowing I’ve ever received. I was really impressed with everything you guys did so please pass on my thanks to your team as well for making it such a success.

My son Charlie and I were taken round the National Gallery by Rose Balston, and in three brief hours, we were inspired to levels of wonder. Rose has the gift of allowing you to discover things in the paintings that you would never have noticed before…I’d strongly recommend you join an Art History UK tour.
